There is no mobile number that is mentioned on the face of the PAN card. However, if you want to update the mobile number registered with the department you can update the same by logging into your account on the income tax website. The process is given below.
There is no need to change the mobile number which you provided while applying for PAN card. But you can do the same by making an application for correction of PAN card Form. The process is explained as an alternative below
Procedure To Change/Register Mobile Number In PAN Card:
The applicant is only required to fill and submit the online application form along with online payment of the respective processing fee.
- First, go to the Update PAN Card Details section of the Income Tax e-filing website.
- Select “Request for New PAN Card or/and Changes or Correction in PAN data” as the Application type and fill your status.
- Fill in rest of the information asked such as name, and date of birth. Information marked with an asterisk sign has to be filled in mandatorily. Mention your email id and mobile number (new).
- A token number will be generated and same will be sent to your email id (But the same must be noted ). Click on continue with your Application.
