Jessica Alba is an American actress, businesswoman, and model. She was born on April 28, 1981 in Pomona, California, and grew up in a working-class family. Alba began acting at a young age, and made her television debut in the 1990s with roles in shows such as “The Secret World of Alex Mack” and “Flipper.”
Alba’s big break came in 2000, when she was cast as the lead in the television series “Dark Angel.” Over the course of two seasons, she played the role of Max Guevara, a genetically-engineered soldier, and quickly became a household name.
