7. Nina Dobrev
Nina Dobrev is a Bulgarian-Canadian actress. She was born on January 9, 1989 in Sofia, Bulgaria, and immigrated to Canada with her family when she was two years old. Dobrev began acting at a young age, and made her television debut in 2006 with a small role in the Canadian series “Degrassi: The Next Generation.”
Dobrev’s big break came in 2009, when she was cast as Elena Gilbert in the hit television series “The Vampire Diaries.” Over the course of eight seasons, she played the role of a young woman who becomes involved with vampires and other supernatural beings, and quickly became a fan favorite.
